Are you an experienced coach or a passionate football enthusiast ready to take the next step? As a League Team Head Coach, you’ll be at the heart of your team’s development, guiding players through competitive football while upholding the club’s ethos of fun, inclusivity, and respect.

Responsibilities

βœ”οΈ Plan and lead weekly midweek training sessions (1 hour).
βœ”οΈ Organise and manage the team on matchdays (Saturday mornings).
βœ”οΈ Deliver engaging and structured training aligned with player development goals.
βœ”οΈ Foster a positive, team-first environment that builds confidence and respect.
βœ”οΈ Provide feedback to players and support individual growth.
βœ”οΈ Ensure adherence to FA Safeguarding and Respect policies.
βœ”οΈ Communicate regularly with parents and coordinate team logistics.
βœ”οΈ Work alongside other club volunteers to help grow and improve the team.

Time Commitment

⏳ Midweek training: 1 hour per week.
⚽ Matchdays (Saturday): 90 mins (including a 30-minute warm-up).
πŸ“’ Additional time for planning, communication, and club meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

To coach children at the club, all coaching roles require:
βœ… FA Introduction to Coaching Football qualification (minimum).
βœ… FA Introduction to First Aid qualification.
βœ… FA Safeguarding Children course.
βœ… DBS Criminal Records Check (completed through the club).
